This easy gluten free peanut butter bar recipe is one of my all time favorites! There is something about the way the chocolate layer and peanut butter bar layer work together to take you to another level.
Full credit goes to my amazing wife Aimee! She came up with this gluten free recipe and never ceases to amaze me!

Copy Cat Reese’s Bar?
I will have to say this peanut butter bar recipe tastes as close to a Reese’s cup as you can get in my opinion. It has that rich peanut butter flavor with perfect level of chocolate compliment. Just like your regular Reese’s cup, it’s gluten free!

The Anytime Bar
This peanut butter bar recipe is really great for just about anytime of the year. You will probably see it most around Christmas time. I’m not sure why deserts like this and Buckeyes are seen most around Christmas, but I’ll take it when I can get it!

Best Kept Chilled
This particular recipe likes to spend most of its time in a cool place like a fridge. This is because the top layer of chocolate may get soft if the room temperature is too warm. So keep that in mind.
We typically store in the fridge and pull them out about 15-20 minutes before serving.

No Bake Peanut Butter Bar Recipe!
So you and the oven may have a shady past or not see eye to eye on particular topics… well you are in luck! This is a no bake recipe! Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better!
You can give your oven a rest because the fridge will do all the hard work!
Pro Tips
A couple pro tips that have helped me in the past with this recipe…
- Line the pan with parchment paper before you put the first layer in. This will keep it from sticking and when it’s set, you can easily pop it out and cut it into the desired size!
- After you layer the peanut butter base down, use parchment paper to press down and pack it in tight. You want this layer to be solid!
- Keep the chocolate layer reasonable. If it’s too thick, when you go to cut after it is set, it will squish the bottom layer and break funny.
Finding gluten free graham cracker crumbs can be tough, but I have found Kinnikinnick has a great one. You don’t see them in stores often, but you can grab them online pretty easily!
