I’ve completed the Krispy Kreme Challenge 4 times, and really wish we could get a Krispy Kreme gluten free menu with options!

If you are looking for gluten free donuts, you can probably keep driving past Krispy Kreme. I’m sorry to bring the bad news. A little piece of me screams every time I see that “hot and fresh” sign lit up when I drive by!

With so many gluten free flour options, you would think gluten free donuts at Krispy Kreme would be a thing now… maybe one day!

What can you eat or drink then?

Here are your options…. they are going to be limited and all of them are drinks, but at least you can walk in and still be able to walk out with something in hand. We can stop staring at the conveyer belt of donuts and at least grab a coffee!

Keep in mind they make the following claim on their website.. “Our facilities produce products with peanuts, milk, tree nuts, soy, milk, eggs and wheat. While we take steps to minimize the risk of cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are safe to consume for people with peanut, tree nut, soy, milk, egg or wheat allergies.”

The KK Challenge: Under an hour, run 2.5 miles, eat a dozen donuts, run 2.5 miles.

I’ve done this 4 times before I went gluten free. How cool would it be to get GF donuts for this?! It was one of the most fun races I’ve done and can only hope to get back at it again in the future!

Katz Gluten Free… Krispy Kreme Gluten Free Alternative!

Katz Gluten Free Bakery has done a great job swooping in and taking over the gluten free donut market. They make a really tasty product that scratches the donut itch. You can even get them delivered to your door!

My personal favorite is their cinnamon sugar donut holes and their oatmeal creme pies. You need to check them out if you have not done so already!

Gluten Free Dad’s Verdict

Not a whole lot of gluten free choices at Krispy Kreme. If you are going there with some friends you can at least grab a drink and stare longingly while they eat. Hopefully that’s not the case…
