Back in 2017 I entered the annual Chili Cook Off at work. Everything was on the line…and I walked away as the CHAMPION out of 15 different chilis… I’ve kept silent about how I was able to achieve chili excellence.. until now!

In a world of HOT…be SWEET!
You want to win the next chili cook off and own the bragging rights for another year? The secret is to go with my gluten free sweet chili recipe. Think about it… everyone is trying to burn your tongue off with their “special” combination of hot peppers and spices. Sweat dripping down their faces. Then they get to your booth… With a giant smile, you hand them a taste of your gluten free sweet chili, and their taste buds get the much needed respite they have been searching for!
Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself. Out of the 15 chilis, I was the only one that was sweet. The rest were going for the atomic hot. The last time you were at a chili cook off, how many sweet chilis do you remember? That’s what I thought… probably not many.
Besides this just being an incredible chili, it was like shooting fish in a barrel. The only thing I would do differently next time is make more! Towards the end, I had to give out smaller and smaller servings because voters were coming back to my booth for seconds to cool off between other chilis. More face time = more votes! It’s really a simple concept, not to mention the chili is amazing!
So the next time you want to own all bragging rights for the year at work, make this gluten free sweet chili. Your secret is safe with me!
Let me know if you try it and leave your comments below or send me a DM on IG! I’d love to hear from you!
