My family does not eat out often. When we do, it needs to be at one of the gluten free restaurants that we know and trust. Not all restaurants treat their gluten free menu the same and not all restaurants have the same knowledge when it comes to dietary needs and restrictions.
The following list of gluten free restaurants are my family’s go to establishments when we want to check out a fairly robust gluten free menu. They each have their own sale and considerations when it comes to their gluten free menu.
Cheesecake Factory
The Cheesecake Factory has one of the biggest menus I’ve seen for any restaurant out there. The gluten free options within their menu is deep! Many of their dishes can be made gluten free if you simply ask.
I will remind you to ask about their dedicated fryer though. We have been to Cheesecake factories where they have a dedicated fryer and ones that don’t. They have great non-fried gluten free food, but if you are craving french fries, give them a call ahead of time and ask to be sure.
Cheesecake Factory is my go to choice for one huge reason though… their gluten free Godiva chocolate cheese cake is amazing. It speaks for itself!

Red Robin
Craving a great restaurant style gluten free burger? Well Red Robin does not disappoint. They have the best gluten free bun I have tasted for any restaurant. The burgers on their menu can be made gluten free with this delicious bun. So if you are craving a good old hamburger and fries, this is a great option.

PF Chang’s
PF Chang’s is one of those unique restaurants that I will say is not great for the kids, but a really nice date night spot for Aimee and I. It’s not that it is not kid friendly. It’s a little more sophisticated of a taste for the kids. I can’t blame the kids. They like typical steaks, burger and fries options at restaurants. However, PF Chang’s simply has some delicious gluten free asian menu items that Aimee and I really enjoy.

Outback Steakhouse
Outback Steakhouse has a very nice separate gluten free menu available when you ask your waiter. They have one of the better steaks you can buy at any traditional restaurant without busting your budget. Lots of great gluten free options.
I will say, you can tell how good your waiter is by one thing here… if you tell them your table is gluten free and they still bring you that warm loaf of bread, it may be time for a little chat!

Mellow Mushroom
If you are looking for some great gluten free pizza with the family, the Mellow Mushroom is the place to be. The pizzas on their menu can be made gluten free with their crust and you can craft your own gluten free pizza with numerous gluten free toppings options.
My family loves pizza so maybe we are biased, but pizza is a quick dinner option that seems to keep all the kids happy. If you want to make gluten free pizza at home try my gluten free pizza crust recipe or check out Zeia premade crust!

The Top 5 Gluten Free Restaurants List is Complete!
So those restaurants are my family’s go to gluten free options when we want to have a nice sit-down meal away from our number one spot…our kitchen!
Let me know in the comments below what your favorite gluten free restaurant might be! I’d love to hear about some other options we could explore! Thanks for stopping by!
Hello, I was looking at your list of GF restaurants, and I have to add one. Red Heat. OMG, they are so delicious! EVERYTHING, ALL OF THE THINGS, on their menu can be GF!! The WHOLE menu. And yes, they have a full-size restaurant menu.
They don’t even have regular breaded things, so you have no worries about someone using the wrong fryer. They coat everything ‘breaded’ and fried with crushed house made kettle chips.
So awesome!
That place sounds heavenly!! I’ll have to check it out!
