When I heard IHOP had a gluten free menu, I knew I had to check it out quick! I still have memories of my days in college devouring their endless stacks of pancakes. I wanted that full feeling back!

What is on the IHOP Gluten Free Breakfast Menu?
If you came for the pancakes… you came to right the right spot! Below, you can see a snap shot of all their gluten free, or referred to as “gluten friendly” options.

There are some decent choices on their menu. If you are looking for s simple American style breakfast with some delicious hot cakes, this may be your spot. IHOP has been a go to spot for our family after Sunday morning church services.
Pro-Tip: add chocolate chips to your stack!
Danger! What to watch out for on the menu!
I love a great ham, cheese, and onion omelette, but you won’t see me eating it at IHOP. Their omelette menu looks great and is very appetizing to look at. However, be aware they put a splash of their pancake batter in the egg.
Their website states “omelettes and breakfast burritos & bowls are made with a splash of their famous buttermilk and wheat pancake batter!“
I was surprised by this. Hopefully this note catches your eye before you make the choice!

IHOP is more than just gluten free pancakes!
There are several dinner options at IHOP as well. Their menu does not claim them to be gluten free or gluten friendly options. However, with a little conversation with your server, I’m sure you could make the meals gluten free. Here are some other entrees:
- Sirloin
- T-bone steak
- Pot roast
- Salmon
- Turkey

Looking for More Gluten Free Restaurant Options?
I’ve been diligently working to take deep dives into some of my favorite restaurants. If you are not in the mood for Denny’s, maybe some of these will fancy you!
Hey! You made it all the way down here?!?! Thanks stopping by! Drop a comment on how your IHOP experience went!
We have avoided eating at IHOP due to my husband’s Celiac Disease. We’re truly surprised IHOP has GF pancakes! The last one we ate at didn’t have any GF items on the menu. We give IHOP a try or we might just stay away.
Great to hear, let us know how it goes for you!
