How to Make hard apple cider

Cook Time 30 days


  • 1 gallon Apple cider room temperature, pasturized and preservative free
  • 1 packet yeast
  • 3 tbsp pure honey for bottling
  • 1/2 cup water


  1. Sanitize your one gallon jug

  2. Pour half your apple cider into the jug

  3. Insert yeast and swish around

  4. Pour remaining apple cider into jug

  5. Cap off the jug with your air lock and wait 2 weeks

  6. AFTER 2 weeks, mix the water honey with the cider from the jug via siphon (check out the video link)

  7. final step is to siphon cider honey mix into bottles and then wait two more weeks
