I’ve been to Okinawa Japan a few times for work. I always looked forward to chowing down on a delicious bowl of ramen and maybe some garlic rice! Their ramen in Japan is something special and I was always looking for a US spot to match their quality and taste. After going gluten free, I thought that search was over.
Then Aimee reminded me about rice noodles and how I could substitute them for the regular ones. Game changer! She’s so smart! Haha.
Now when I’m at a Japanese restaurant, I simply ask for rice noodles. The last time I asked, the waiter gave me funny look initially, but after the weird look, he figured out what I was asking for. Score!
Hello ramen! My big bowl with an egg, green stuff, maybe some meat, and rice noodles. What more could you want!
