I’ve always travelled a lot. Whether I’m on the road or in the air, one of my favorite stops was Chick-fil-a. Their simple chicken sandwiches always hit the spot. That warm bun and fried chicken breast with my favorite sauce…so good!
When I went gluten free, I thought my chicken sandwich days were over… WRONG! I shortly found out that they have their own gluten free bun. It costs just a little extra. All you have to do is ask for a gluten free bun. You will have to build your own sandwich since the bun comes in a sealed bag, but they package everything up nicely for you and it’s easy to get your sandwich built. Crisis averted!
The bun is little dry, I have to be honest, but I simply add a little more sauce and problem solved! I truly appreciate Chick-fil-a’s efforts. It scratches the itch when I’m hankering for a grilled chicken sandwich for sure!
